One Winter

One winter, you left me in my shiver,

All alone in the night of dark and cold,

Getting lost in this dreary and snowy wilderness,

Freezing with the whites of regrets and blues.

And one winter I waited in one corner

of one melancholic cell of tragic solitude,

Looking at the pale trail you travelled before,

Remembering the fears of winter tears.

One winter I wished as I quiver,

A lost chum will visit me in my frost,

But devastating blizzards had come and gone,

I’m unmoved and still in the boots of my chill.

Until one winter I reminisce no longer,

Time that I spent longing for your light,

Winters that I was waiting in ice and cries,

Snow that had fallen faint and died.

But one winter all just fade to never,

My hope has blown and flown with the wind,

Knowing that one winter your life withers,

Made me remain in my shiver during winter.

I used to get by on my own until they came, showing me what friendship really means.

A walk to remember

:) This was written last night….

I woke ip a hundred times earlier than I usually do. I immediately got myself ready and dressed up and eventually on-the-go at 4:30 in the early morning. I was not being possessed, this was all because the AVON walk for a healthy tomorrow would be held, emphasizing its help to the breast cancer patients.

The activity was held at the SM Mall of Asia and the registration was as early as six in the morning. I encountered a difficulty in going to the place because I was such an uncivilized person; I had gone to MOA only once in my entire wonderful and a bit patethic life. :)

But after all, we made it to MOA.(*applause*)

There were lots of people and students who participated in the AVON walk. Most of those were PUPians, not only because they were required to, but also because they wanted to.

The participants were on their march at past seven. Despite of the pails of sweat, everyone tried his/her best to reach the finish line- and everyone did.

After the walk, the word “gala” came next. We viewed some of the stores there, including my paradise- the Comic Alley. :)

It was such fun helping the breast cancer patients in a simple way like walking….

So, gotta go…peace out!..smile!:)

Silence

Noisy lips,

Busy streets,

Thus,I want still,

Silence when I kneel.

Multitude of anxieties,

Mind’s perplexities,

yet I have peace

in my silent bliss.

Inevitable rumors,

Fading values,

but I choose to remain

in my silent game.

People are shouting,

Nature is talking,

and I stay blithe and tranquil,

Silently telling to God what I feel.

The world is too “noisy” these days.
